I pre-booked someone for 9am last Monday, 8/7. At around 9:30 no one had arrived and I hadn't gotten a call, so I tried calling the number on your website. My call would not go through, saying the number was unavailable. Shortly after ten, still unable to get through on your phone number, I decided to book a different plumber through a different company. Shortly before 11am the person I had booked for 9am finally arrived, and I understandably had to pay the callout fee for the other company. I understand delays happen but the fact that I never got a call and could not get through on your phone number is inexcusable. I also left a voicemail and never heard back. Yesterday, one week after having our pipes cleared with hydro-jet, we have the exact same problem. So I paid 241 for one week of cleared drains. I called yesterday to enquire about this issue and the woman was unhelpful and apathetic, stating that they can send someone out but we will be charged again. I am upset and disappointed about the service I have received from Sam Dunn Plumbing and unfortunately won't be booking again or recommending to anyone.

I have used Sam a few times for various plumbing work and installation of a new hot water system. He is reliable and punctual - shows up at the time he said he would. His work is very thorough and I've never had a problem with anything he has worked on as he cleans up whatever mess he makes before leaving. I'd recommend his service anyday.

Totally scam. Labor fee deception. Less than one hour job, asking me to pay for ONE AND HALF hour labor fee. Totally disappointed. Because I took a video of their job, they cut 60 labor fee, but still charge a lot. Definitely not recommend to anyone. 1. Your place to Saarinen ave St Agnes (where I live) is ONE MINUTE driving, and my video started to record about your guy's job commence at 3:32, would it take HALF HOUR TO DRIVE TO MY HOME AND SET-UP? It's just a leaking water pipe! 2. Your guy overburnt my leaking pipe, making a bigger hole, finally had to cut off that part replacing a new one. I do believe your guy is lacking of experience and professionalism, which costed me more money. 3. Finally job done, I got the bill from you, this is the most informal invoice I have ever had from a business. No detail, when I was in your place asking for item details, you were not willing to write them down. No item list, just want money?? 4. There is a Google user named Leah Smith, who gave my wife 's and my businesses some really bad and hateful comments (just one month after I used your service)and we checked our record that there is no client with that name, BUT this user gave a 5star comment to your business. We already reported this user to Google.
wow thanks Sam, the service i recieved from you and your staff was second to none. the burst pipe was not only hard to find but in a realy bad spot. thanks for the help i will not need to think of who to call next time i am in need of a plumber. Shaun.
Sam knew exactly what the problem was and how to fix it. Very friendly, very reliable and easy to talk to. DO RECOMMEND.
Sam Dunn plumbing are my plumber of choice as of today. I had a backed up shower drain whilst I was away at work so the wife called SA Drains (DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU HAVE A PILE OF CASH YOU NEED TO DISPOSE OF ASAP) to come and have a look. They spent two hours trying to unblock this drain and charged 400 with no success but they did give the wife a quote to replace they gulley for 3000. Thanks SA Drains! They also said that it may not be the gulley and it may require the bathroom floor ripped up to repair as "it is a process of elimination". Both myself and the wife were a little suss so I rang Sam Dunn Plumbing and explained the situation to the receptionist who got Sam to ring me within 10 minutes and I asked him to come and quote replacing the gulley. Sam arrived the next day spent a maximum of 30 minutes at my house which involved a quick inspection before he went out to his vehicle came back with a tool, pulled a big lump of hair out the drain and OMG its fixed. I was pretty happy with this so I asked him to quote some more work which his company sent me a quote for on the same day at a good price and the invoice to unblock the drain was far less than the 400 I burnt with the other mob to achieve nothing. Sam could have quoted me to replace the gulley and I probably would have paid it but from my experience this company has the technical expertise and integrity to do the job right the first time without trying to extract as much cash as they can from the customer.
