I have been attending Australian Guitar Academy for almost 2 years now, I was a beginner when I started and Nick has helped me progress in leaps and bounds since then! I've gained so much confidence playing the guitar, Nick has innovative strategies suitable for all ages, his enthusiasm and encouragement to see me excel in my guitar playing has been fundamental in my progress. Nick is very patient and he breaks things down in a way that is both simple and understandable. I feel accomplished after every lesson and I would recommend Australian Guitar Academy to anyone who wants to learn to play the guitar , it doesn't matter how old you are, Nick will help you reach your goals in no time!

We have been very lucky to find this great place for our daughter. Nick is very professional, caring and talented teacher who believes in his students and never gives up on them. Our daughter has become a confident guitar player over last two years since she started attending classes. Thank you for your perseverance, consistency and continuous support.
I started with “The Australian Guitar Academy” in 2016 (at the age of 8 years) and I feel that my progress has been great. Nick makes guitar playing enjoyable and simple for everyone. He helps me understand music theory by breaking it down. Before I started with “The Australian Guitar Academy”, I had never held a guitar. Nick is a fun and understanding teacher who has taught me everything I know about guitar and given me the confidence to perform in front of an audience. I have progressed well in music and have learned how to play the lead for many songs, such as The Trooper, Sweet Child O’ Mine, Comfortably Numb, Crazy Train, and more. Also, on Saturday afternoons, I get the opportunity to play guitar and drums with a few other talented musicians, as part of the Rock Out Program. We get to play different instruments and sing songs of our choice as part of a band. I would recommend learning from “The Australian Guitar Academy” to anyone who wants to learn guitar
Drithi has been doing guitar classes for the last 3 years and we have seen a lot of improvement with Nick way of teaching (pretty innovative strategies and encourage the children to concentrate in class as well as practice at home. If you miss a class we can just go online and reschedule the class which is very easy and helpful. We have seen a lot of improvement in Drithi and she loves to play it to us as a performance every Sunday evening which is pleasant to listen.
I am 70 years old and have been getting lessons from Nick at Australian Guitar Academy for 5 years. I am very pleased with the progress I have made in my guitar playing. Nick is an awesome tutor who keeps up to date with innovative programming. He is a skilled guitarist and has the ability to impart his extensive musical theory knowledge to students without overloading them. He schedules classes so that it is never boring and he keeps you interested and wanting to improve. Above all he is a great teacher and has excellent people skills. My son has been attending lessons with Nick for over 5 years. He has learned so much over the years and loves working with Nick. He is a passionate musician and Nick beautifully fosters his love for the guitar and music. The other great thing about Australian Guitar Academy is that great friendships have been formed among the students and they all enjoy getting together to rock and play music. Nick opens his doors and offers his time one Friday every month to give students the opportunity to hang out, have fun and play together. I have been having lessons with Australian Guitar Academy for a few years. I am an older player and a complete beginner. Lessons have been excellent. Interesting. Often accomodating my own taste in music. Pushing me to attempt and learn things I didn’t think possible. Always with humour and a plan B when my skills fail me. This has become an important part of my life I look forward to each week. I wholeheartedly recommend Australian Guitar Academy. Try them out you won’t regret it. .
My son, James, has been taking guitar lessons since September 2 2018, and has enjoyed every single moment with the Australian Guitar Academy. He started from no training or experience at almost 9 years of age, and can now confidently play countless riffs, leads, and entire complex songs such as Silverchair's Freak. By Xmas 2019, he will have learnt all of Deep Purple's Smoke on the Water, and perform it live. When he plays, it sounds like the real thing. In addition to this, he now sings to some of his music.
