Purchased an MG from Ryde MG , who as a dealer have been good and professional . However it has been nearly 3 months off the road waiting for a spare part. Have emailed MG 3 times , and once got a reply of "will pass to another department who will reply" they have not replied and Ryde MG cannot advise when the part will be available. Very very bad customer service ! Intend to take further. 2 days later still NO contact made from MG even though they have emails that a "MG representative will be in contact - Dealer also has no information even though they were told that the part would be here on the 21st of January

The car works OK, but there are major issues with the blue tooth system and the arial, the screen goes black and you cant even change the radio or use hands free. The dealer has replaced the whole unit and it is still happening, it still has 6 years warranty and MG have said there is no more than can do. I have contacted customer service and sent an email about 3 weeks ago and still NO response, as everybody has said you can't get onto anybody at MG.....its a real shame as other than this VERY serious issue the car is great.

Do not buy MG. Most unreliable car. Our one year old car is with the MG service providers for the last month. MG is unable to find what is wrong with it. I have sent several messages to MG Australia but nobody has contacted me upto now.

I agree with most of the comments on this site. Once you buy the car there is no customer service from MG Australia. I had a minor warranty problem with my MG3 and there is no dealer in Toowoomba QLD and I couldn't drive the car to Brisbane. I sent an email to MG Australia via their web site asking if I could get the problem fixed at a local mechanic and all I got was a call from a dealership in Brisbane asking me if I wanted to buy a MG. I subsequently had to get the car fixed locally and then sent another email to MG Australia asking for them to reimburse me the cost of the repair (180.00), again I got a call from the same dealership in Brisbane asking what I wanted. I then rang MG Australia and was told that the car had to be repaired under warranty by an MG Dealer even after I had told the guy that I could not drive the car to Brisbane. If you want after sales service and you live remotely don't buy an MG.

DO Not buy an MG3 excite or boy drive my car for two weeks. Engine stalls had it back to the dealer made and official complaint last Thursday morning was told a case manager would call me back in 48 hours. Car is still off the road for 1.5 weeks no one will solve the problem MG HO won't return my calls now I have had to involve ACCC and also fair trading. Next step current affair

DO NOT BUY A MG!! You will never get on the phone to anyone and they will never call you back and it will take forever to get anything that is under warranty fixed or sorted not to mantion their customer service is pathetic!
