Starting with the first vine planting in 1998, De Beaurepaire Wines has grown into a renowned boutique producer of French-style wines. Total vineyard size is 53 hectares within a 200-hectare property with a focus on Burgundy & Champagne (chardonnay & pinot noir), Rhône Valley (shiraz & viognier) and Bordeaux (cabernet sauvignon, merlot, petit verdot, semillon) varieties.

Beautiful scenic drive to such a wonderful location filled with vast vines. I’m a reviewer from a standby as I did not drink. From my fellows, I have been told the wine is very nice and they recommend the Rosè. Very self driven once told about the wines inside. Highly recommended for a chill day! :)

Dropped in after a great time in Rylstone and was incredibly fortunate in that they had just received a cancellation. We took advantage of that and had a guided tasting of their wines. Richard was obviously very enthusiastic and passionate about sharing the information and imparting his love of French techniques of wine making. Enjoyed both the wines and the education. Our fabulous tasting experience started by each of us being welcomed at our car doors and escorted from the car park and being walked to the cellar door by Sacha the Labrador. Amanda walked us through the wine tasting and the story behind de Beaurepaire wines. Outstanding wine. We were charmed by sweet scotch’s persistence and patience while waiting for us to purchase our wine to receive belly rubs. Thank you to Jay from Mudgee for the great recommendation.

It was a rainy day and my wife and I decided to do an impromptu tasting as we were passing through Rylstone mid-week. On a whim we called De Beaurepaire Wines in hopes they might have availability. It was fortunately that there was availability - turns out that De Beaurepaire wines is worth 5 stars from not just one perspective, but two: 1. Their wines are fantastic. 2. Their 'wine exploration' experience, which we were guided by Richard, was the best tasting experience we had in the Mudgee/Orange region over the week we spent in the area. Not only was Richard incredibly informative and a joy to talk with, guiding us through what sets their wines apart, but also, as noted in #1, the wines were fantastic. Highly recommended you book in for a tasting/experience if you are visiting the region, we were very glad we had the opportunity, and look forward to savouring our purchases!
