We just completed our open water diving course with Academy of Scuba and I highly recommend them! We had such a good time learning new skills, getting to know an awesome group of people and exploring the underwater world! Kat and Rhyce were absolutely amazing throughout the whole process and made sure we didn't just learn the required skills but also made sure we felt comfortable in the water and had fun. Thanks for everything!!

Kat and the team were absolutely fantastic in helping us obtain the Open Water certification. They made the whole experience informative and fun. No doubt we'll be back to complete further certifications through AoS.
It was such a great experience! Just completed the open water dive course with Kat and Rhyce over the weekend. Unbelievable! Firstly, got tonnes of knowledge and diving tips, and skills practice. Kate and Chris were very helpful and explained everything really well. In addition to acquiring all that knowledge and practice, it was such a great experience to get underwater, to observe the marine life, to travel on a boat to 2 diving locations near Point Nepean. Would love to continue my diving journey and complete a couple of more advanced courses with Academy of Scuba.
This is the first time I am writing a review to reflect my frustration at the un-professionalism of the shop. The shop demonstrated incompetence and was unable to allocated the gear I pre-ordered while unable to fix my drysuit (which costed me 3000 AUD) multiple times. I contacted the shop again to obatin the proof of the purchase, but I didn't get a single responce. I left the shop due to the reason above and and I would never purchase another gear from the shop again. There are other shops worthy of your time and I hope who ever is reading this would not experience the frunstration I faced.
Me and my friend did a refresher course with Kat. She was so professional and friendly and so patient and knowledgeable would highly recommend Academy of Scuba to anyone who wants to learn scuba diving or anything else scuba diving related ! 10/10 ! Thanks again Kat and thanks for the free goat pats too!
I highly recommend the Academy of Scuba and in particular Travis. I did my Open Water Diving certification here and it was a fun, challenging and empowering experience. Travis was there for me whenever I had issues along the way and was more than supportive with me when I needed it. Because of Travis I enjoyed my experience, even with all the ups and downs and I look forward to growing as a diver and diving again in the future! If it wasn't for Travis, I think my experience would have been completely different. Travis was one of the most compassionate, gentle, kind and thoughtful people I've ever had the good fortune of meeting and I cannot recommend him enough with all the praise in the world. Thank you Travis!
Just finished my advanced open water course with academy of scuba. We had 3pier dives and 2incredible boat dives. Kat and her team do whatever it takes to make you feel safe and comfortable in and out of the water. They load you up with all the knowledge you'll need to continue diving. I will deffinetly return to Melbourne to get some diving done with the academy. To Kat, Madi and the rest of the team, you made my time in Melbourne extra special, i can't thank you enough️ we'll deffinetly catch up for another dive
I did my open water course with Travis and Sophie over the weekend and both of them were absolutely incredible. Extremely helpful with areas which I struggled in and provided heaps of fun over the 3 days. Couldn't recommend them more!!
