Good for kids
Relaxed friendly and instructive. Ensured everyone was looked after throughout the whole ride. Great area to ride in with different terrain as we went on the 2.5hr ride. Horses were well looked after and great to ride. A definite must go back and do it again.

A great trail riding experience. Safe, good horses and excellent guides. Great value too.
Very boring. It was like a conveyor belt of horses and people, being churned along. There were 3 supervisors, 1 of the supervisors was on foot and kept pulling horses back into line if they even slightly veered to the side. We weren't allowed to canter and got told it was because it "was bad for the horses", which didn't make sense. Basically the whole ride was just walking with each horse following the one in front. I didn't have fun or learn anything new and there was no opportunity to improve my riding skills. Many of the horses were badly trained and unresponsive. There should have been an opportunity to go for cantering and trotting in a paddock or open space. There was no information or history provided about the local area. And the scenery was not that good, because of lots of telephone towers dotted around the place. The horses hooves were in very bad condition and had obviously not seen a farrier in a long time. I did like some of the clydesdales they had, which are beautiful horses. But many of the horses had obviously become dull to the riders aids from being ridden on the same path too many times and by so many different people giving them mixed messages and confusing them.
Wonderful, young enthusiastic and kind instructor, especially suited to my girls who are perfectionists and can be hard on themselves. They did two private lessons with her. She found the perfect balance between corrections and praise managing to encourage them to step out of their comfort zone. She was however very respectful of it too and built their self confidence beautifully.
The horse riding experience was wonderful! There will be 3 guides that will guide you along a forest path. They are very helpful and frequently check up on others to make sure they are okay on their horses. They may also take you on a trot and if you feel confident enough, they will let you experience cantering (a quicker speed). I found cantering a lot more easier because of the fact that your bottom bounces less on the saddle which makes it less uncomfortable! I have came back to do this twice already, and would definitely recommend it to newcomers, as it is not that hard and anyone can do it.
This is my fiancee's piece of paradise, it has the backdrop of the Bunyip state forest and is run by awesome people with the most beautiful of horses. I am a true convert to these magnificent beasts.
Well run & very safe - perfect for novices, with great scenery.
A good variety of horses, despite that, need a more experienced and mature person to pick horse for each rider and lead the group who isn't in the phone during ride. Or at least create another sheet asking questions about weight and how much riding experience you have instead of a teenager asking right on the spot without making eye contact. I had booked my ride over the phone and asked if canter is included in the ride, they ensured me that there will be canter. went there with my gf, she liked it as it was her first horse riding trail experience, but the entire ride was walk and trot, no canter at all. For me as an experienced rider was a waste of time since I wouldn't have booked if they had told me ride only has trot and walk. Neither happy with the horse that I was given. If you going to experience your first ride, I would recommend this place.
