I was very impressed when I visited the centre. They run a huge screening system on animals behavioral issues etc before they advertise them on their website. The whole place is set up pretty well so you can walk in and visit the dogs and cats ready to be adopted and the best thing is that you can do it over the weekends if you wish.

Friendly and helpful staff. We love our wonderful dog who we adopted 3 months ago. Unfortunately, from the outset, when on walks she pulled like a sled dog and tried to attack every dog we passed to the point of being completely unmanageable. It has cost us a lot of time and money in training and training aids just to be able to walk her in public in a controlled fashion. This could probably have been avoided with more socialisation and training in real life situations by the RSPCA staff BEFORE this dog was offered for adoption. Being able to take your dog for a walk is a fairly basic requirement for new dog owners.

All of the pets are well cared for and happy. Each animal is embraced for their different personalities and traits. Staff are friendly and helpful. Very clean facilities.

We unable to get two kittens that we were very interested in. We went to the forest home to see them. The foster carer told us if we went to the shelter the next day and pay for them that they would be ours. When we went to the shelter we were told we got the wrong information and there was a lady interested in one of the kittens and that she had first choice. We were unhappy about the mix message that we had recieved. They were very apologetic and very helpful with other kittens. We now have two beautifully 8 Wk old kittens that we love too bits and are been spoiled rotten. I would tell everyone to go to a RSPCA shelter and adopted a pet.
