Great golf course, plenty of variety, greens and fairways in good condition. Enjoyed the day and would play here again

To be fair, I expected more for 140 for a round. Greens were covered in leaf litter, tee boxes were full of divots, bunkers hadn’t been maintained, roughs were ‘rough’. The pro shop and other facilities were beautiful but the course was a let down, sorry. Drinks cart out on a hot day was great though, and priced extremely reasonably.
We stayed in of the king villas and I played 18 holes on Monday. First class experience on both accommodation and the golf. Friendly and helpful pro shop. Sensational beautiful and challenging golf course in great condition. Greens soft to land on and run true. Fabulous couch fairways . Lots of water carries for the men’s tees makes for a few lost balls but the course is fun, and gives you choices to make. The accommodation was lovely and the kangaroos and bird life was an added bonus. Pool complex with a 25 lap area is also very good. Would recommend regardless of the golf.
Beautiful golf course with plenty of hazards! Great day out. Awesome pro shop and club house. Will definitely be back.
Beautiful club and course , I can see what all the fuss is about, No 1
Great course with plenty of variation in holes. Well worth a hit
Great golf club. First three holes are tough but it opens up after that. Bar and restaurant are good.
The Arthouse, 15 Mahogany Drive, The Vintage Resort, Rothbury was our weekend home and base for exploring the Hunter Valley. The home provided living areas and bedrooms for our extended family of seven adults and never seemed crowded. The Arthouse is well appointed and within walking distance of The Vintage Resort facilities - gym, tennis courts, pool, cafe, restaurant, Airstream casual diner and, not least, the Greg Norman designed golf course. When the weather was inclement the home offered a variety of entertainment (TV, music, games, books) and the opportunity for a family chat! Outdoors we enjoyed various walks around the resort admiring the upmarket architecture, the beautiful golf course surrounds and the plentiful kangaroos. Of course, we also took advantage of being within 15 minutes drive of the many activities on offer in the Hunter Valley. Highly recommended for a busy/relaxed (your choice) 4 star short break.
