We stayed at Peter and Karen’s property. They been nice and welcoming. Peter showed us how to Catch fish and we caught two. I read people reviews and some are just not grateful for experience they get there. First of all it’s not easy to keep such setup, it’s far Peter and Karen had done their best. With all going on in world and last year impacting everyone around globe. We should be thankful to every opportunity of Joy and fun. Peter gave me 30 second lesson on catching fish and rods guess what We all five now knows how to use rods. (I never fished whole my life) Thank you Peter and Karen.

Quite interesting experience, we caught 4 trouts and had them for dinner! The big lake is closed and we can only fish at the two small ponds, and the trouts are relatively easy to catch. The reception staffs are friendly but the old bloke working on the rod and fish seems to have had enough visitors for the day. He rushed through the instruction and couldn't be bothered to stay any longer for questions.

Absolute shocking service, greeted but unhelpful and unfriendly staff, the only good thing going for it is the location. My boyfriend and I just wanted a nice lunch out willing to spend our money for nice fresh trout, and the first thing we hear is "No booking no service" and after an hour travel just to get here we were very disappointed. Will not be going back and recommend you don't either.

Everyone was very friendly, so I hesitated to write this less than perfect review. I also think we should try to support local businesses when possible as they've had a difficult time through COVID. We were not expecting to go fishing in a fish tank. We also got a 30 second verbal instruction, which was fine for people who have fished, but boggling for those who haven't. This is an experience that young children might enjoy, but if you go expecting to catch something, you might be disappointed. One suggestion for the owners: spend more time with guests at the enclosures and give some pointers. We felt slightly abandoned.

Great place for trout fishing. Kids had a blast. However bring your own coffee as the coffee machine was broken and no alternatives offered.

This was an excellent experience, our group (4 adults, 4 kids) loved it. The owners are really lovely people and were very helpful. We cooked some of our trout fresh on site and got chips from the cafe, lovely way to spend our afternoon. Highly recommended this.

Fishing was slow on a hot day, but the kids had fun and we got enough trout for dinner. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Great shade structures at catch tanks kept the sun off.
