More than just a tower on Rocky Hill, in Goulburn. This prominent landmark provides it's primary role as a memorial to wartime sacrifice, and a great view over Goulburn. The museum is a hidden gem for military historians. A great small, but significant collection of wartime artifacts. Well worth the side trip if passing by or through Goulburn.

It's definitely a great place to visit, all the artifacts and information, would make for a great place to visit for the war history buffs, groups like Cadets, or any one whom may be interested in seeing such the place and items associated, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this location! And even though I'm physically challenged, I found it to be a fantastic experience, but perhaps a ramp of sorts could be made and installed, for people such as myself, and those whom are worse off, just so the whole population can also enjoy the experience

Great walk from town via wetlands , 3 km, turn left after old gas works site. Great facility hidden below ridge line, heaps of WW1 collection from ANZACs and information showing the poor conditions and sacrifices made by many during and after such a war. Allow 2 hours for a relaxed and fullfilled visit

The WW1 Museum is filled with so much history and gear/equipment from the past. The tower is so unique and such an icon in the area, there are very few locations in the region you can stand without seeing this tower perched upon the hill. Not very big and you can get in and out in about 30-60mins depending on how much reading you want to do, it is just a gold coin donation to enter the museum. The best part of definitely the lovely views you get from the tower and great reading material. “Jonique Life” Follow our journey around Australia on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube as we highlight wonderful experiences and magical places you can add to your ever growing bucket list.

One of the best War Memorials in Australia. This one dedicated to WWI.

The Rocky Hill Memorial is memories of the lost love ones in the World War 1 and World War 2. Open in 1925 Very good lookout to the Goulburn City and surrounding.

Beautiful views, the War Memorial itself is quite spectacular and the museum was wonderful. The staff were happy to answer any questions and for a small complex there were quite a lot of relics onsite. Would recommend stopping by, if history isn’t your thing the view alone is definitely worth the visit.
