Our general waste bin disappeared after a pickup day on Monday last week. We contacted the council and we should get the new bin in 4 business days. After countless attempts to contact, you hardly get thru to them only to speak with rude staff. Everytime we call, they say it will be there tomorrow......It's been 10 business days and tomorrow is public holiday! Still no bin at sight!

Around midday, I was walking on this way(next to Nab bank) and I tripped over. Can anyone put these things on the street outside of their shop ????
Went to the Council chambers a couple of weeks ago to register my pet. The lady at the desk (didn't get her name) was super helpful and even helped me with aspects of th4 registration that was not Council's responsibility. Top effort bu the sfaff. I was really impressed.

I visited the Rockdale centre today to get advice on the council approval process for work we want to do in our backyard. I noticed when initially searching for Bayside Council's details on Google, the reviews were pretty awful about people's customer experience and I honestly was expecting to experience much the same.... TO MY DELIGHT, I HAD A GREAT CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE! The staff were absolutely lovely (even when I lined up in the wrong queue) and I was served by a lovely man named Matthew who took the time to take us through the approval process. If you are reading this and you find that you too have a great experience, please take the time to leave a review (this applies to any business). As someone who works in CX, I know too well it's common place to hear when things go wrong but we rarely take the time to share when things go right. Illegal dumping of furniture and rubbish had occurred outside the entire apartment block (over a period of a week or so). I contacted Bayside council who were sympathic and understanding. Within 2 hours a garbage truck was there cleaning up the mess, thank you Bayside, very grateful!
If you are not a developer or property builder, they will otherwise not help you. There is no regulation whatsoever. They want no responsibility with anything and treat communities like trash. Completely incompetent Council.
Pathway at girraween st next canal so poorly thought about and designed path ends on my driveway my cars and all neighbours cars block access to Pathway ???nice spending wasting rate payers hard earned money I'll call tomorrow
