Lots of fun. Can mingle with the wallaby's. All the animals are great.

Loved it. The animal encounters were amazing! The meerkats were especially cool. And we actually got to see the tiger!
Super fun! Definitely need a few hours to take in all the zoo has to offer
Great zoo lots of animals. You can get pretty close to the big cats.
I wasn’t thrilled about my visit to the zoo. Some of the enclosures and animals look like they could be better cared for. Throughout the zoo more seating and bins are needed. The BBQ area is very unclean and the food in the cafe was gross. Customer service was poor. The animals themselves were gorgeous. My kids enjoyed themselves. Overall, I think a big clean and little upgrade could go along way.
Not a bad place. For a state like Tasmania, the zoo is quite interesting. Took my little niece there and had a lot of fun. Surprisingly the big cats were more active and insight than any other zoo I've visited. The birds are really gorgeous, and if you're lucky, you can go in with the meercats or little monkeys
Great place, loved it ! Advise to go in the morning as most of the animals are happy having a nap in the arvo lol The Jurassic swamp is great but could do with a bit more loving
We really enjoyed our visit to the Tasmania Zoo near Launceston. Upon arrival, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We took a little over 1.5 hours to complete the zoo visit; it is a medium sized zoo. We recommend a visit if you're in the Launceston area; great for families. The zoo keepers really care for these animals from what we could see: well maintained grounds; animals look healthy; animals are having babies; can get up-close; enclosures are clean. Some enclosures are closed or being maintained. Lots of Aussie animals as well as several primates and African continent animals.
