I walked in with my toddler son and a smile on both of our faces. The lady looked at both of us up and down and mumbled something (yes it was visible) Me : Hey how are you? Lady: yes what you want Me (ignoring her rude behaviour ) : does your special schnitzel burger have any bacon on it? Lady: yes look at menu. Its written right there. (As she started writing chicken schnitzel burger) Me (again ignored as my son was with me): oh so can we have grilled chicken burger please? Lady looked at me, rolled her eyes and mumbled something again and wrote our order. Not a word after that as she took payment and just walked back. 3 more people came, ordered and took their food as we waited. After all other costumers left she handed the food saying "here". I never felt more discriminated As I could not find another reason for her being nice to everyone else but us. I was polite and gentle the whole time and never said a word because I don't want any negative thoughts in my son's mind as he doesn't understand discrimination yet. It's 2021 for God's sake.

Friendly service. We loved the chips - this is 10 and fed 2 hungry parents and 2 kids. Pineapple fritters also highly recommended. Salad roll was huge but a bit bland.

Chips were excellent and seasoned well. Gravy could slightly improve on flavour. Bacon and egg roll was nice, but could improve with not as much bacon.

Had fish and chips, the chips wernt bad fish is frozen fish and not that tasty would of liked to see fresh fish so close to the water

We got 10 of chips and it fed our family of 2 adults and 3 kids well. The chips were thicker cut, cooked pretty well and had a good amount of chicken salt. They were pretty busy with the summer beach crowd ordering dinner, but our order was cooked in reasonable time. Happy to recommend. Give them a try when you're next at Merewether Beach
