Brendt and manager extremely helpful. Went out if their way to provide a range of solutions to my cars problem, when they could have just simply told me to go see a mechanic. Legends!

Nice Local Garage...they appear to be liked...heaps of cars in their parking area. I'll end up using them only in emergency situations as they're pricing ain't that different to the VW dealer i attend.

I own a Peugeot and was given a shopping list of repairs required by the dealership. The costs of doing these repairs was worth more than the car and put me in a difficult position. I took my car to J & F on the recommendation of a colleague and spoke with Steve. He gave me a detailed break down of the work needed and alternatives parts. During this discussion I felt like Steve was discussing with me the best ways to fix the car without huge costs, rather than what is the biggest job they could perform. J & F motors fixed my car for less than half the original quoted price. My experience with J & F Motors lead me to write a review as I would have no hesitation in recommending them as honest and reputable and very informative and helpful in explaining the complex world of servicing your car.

DO NOT GET A RWC HERE I had a similar experience to David when my 70 y.o. father took his car in for a RWC. at J&F Motors. Was a great decision of mine to take the car from their workshop and have another mechanic replace the front brake pads, discs machined for 60% of the 400 J&F quoted. Replacement windscreen without a crack, scratch, mark or pitting to be seen on it was quoted at 300 by J&F, clearly an attempt to cover the high overheads that they claimed to be behind their very high pricing. This explanation must even filter down to a simple set of wiper blades quoted at over double the price due to being located in Richmond apparently...WTF! Do not play the safety card in regards to David’s post you are simply ignoring the entire point, it was more in line with my experience with your business. That point being, querying problems that you claim to identify as actually existing at all coupled with your self- confessed high prices. Yes you are entitled to your 165 for what is basically a safety check but heed this, it is not a licence to find ambiguous, nonexistent faults with a vehicle and jacking up your prices knowing that it will cost the client 165 regardless. Businesses such as yours heavily contribute to the hideous reputation that your industry currently exists with.
