Lovely and peaceful place for a walk to see some wildlife. If you go at dusk in the summer, I highly recommend mosquito repellent!

Oswin Roberts is a lovely little wood. Only about 100m wide but over 2km long. There are paths on both side of its length and a few paths that cross from one side to the other. The paths themselves are well maintained and a light gravel that's easy to walk or ride on. The reserve itself is a nice mixture of Eucalyptus, Bracken and other plants (that I don't know the names of). There's plenty of chances to see Wallabies during the day but more prominently at dawn or dusk. There are no toilets so a bush wee will be required if a little one (or big person) needs to go. The Acacia trees are infested with some burrowing grub so you'll see lots of damaged trees but the Nature Parks are always planting more trees to hopefully keep the reserve in good health. Be mindful of copperhead snakes so stick to the paths and avoid walking on the edge of the path as they like to bask there, mostly in summer. I've only ever seen two in there though so don't let it out you off. My only wish is that it was BIGGER! If we could buy the farmland on either side and double the width that would make for a wonderful woodland retreat in the middle of the island. There's ample parking too.
Saved a wallaby and so natural you can hear the thump of there take off throughout the walk
Very nice place to go for a walk!
Such a wonderful place to just go for a walk and explore
Conservation area with some good walking and cycling trails
Balmy off the beaten track nature walk. Wasn't any wildlife to see on the day we visited however its a easy tranquil way to spend an afternoon.
Fantastic, I absolutely loved this place. Great for walking or cycling
