This office doesn't send notifications, just threats, see attached. They threaten to cancel my licence, take my money, it's a terror state. No country in the civilized western democracy send such intimidating letters. Shame, shame, shame on the civilized world if there is one anymore, it's all about money. Fines are outrageously high for small traffic offenses. This office is a money making machine preying on decent citizens while all those maniacs driving on our streets without been punished.

67 in a 60 zone camera detected We acknowledge your comments indicating you have a 10 year clear driving record and that speeding was not intentional, however we are unable to cancel the penalty.

On the date of the 28th July 2020, I was fined an amount of 116.00 for ‘failing to show/having a parking ticket visible as required’. My vehicle which I use for work purposes, had been left a ticket by a parking ranger on Darling Street, Balmain. The reason for myself failing to source a parking ticket is due to the machines are all touch operated. In light of the current COVID-19 Pandemic, I was genuinely fearful of my health being put at risk if I had made contact with a contaminated machine. I would expect that due to this significant number of COVID-19 cases Australia wide, that the incompetent individual who is in charge of the general public’s health and safety have made a touchless machine in order to prevent further spread of this out of control virus. The thing is, is that, I reside with my grandparents and they are elderly people who are far more susceptible to contract these kinds of virus’s and tend to have by far much worse results once contracted. But, there is a much bigger issue going on here that being the government does not care about the people of this nation or their health, yet they are more interested in stealing people’s hard earned income for petty matters just like the one I myself have fallen victim of myself unfortunately. I will take this matter to the state premier if I have to in order to speak not only for the myself and my vulnerable grandparents, but all the others who are too fearful to speak out in fear of retaliation. I then sent a ‘request for review’ and this was their response. “We acknowledge your comments indicating you live with your grandparents and did not pay for parking as you did not want to touch the ticket machine due to COVID-19, however we are unable to cancel the penalty.” So much for ‘SLOWING THE SPREAD’

I guess I will express my frustration with a comment that is going to be ignored. You or the authority that passed the fine had a what is like a predator behaviour. The person that passed the fine saw me taking a ticket for a zone that I thought I had free parking for 15min. Didn't say anything, didn't advise, didn't inform and watched and waited while a person without previous knowledge of the area made the mistake to assume it would be ok. 4min after I parked I got a fine. If I did a mistake? For sure I did, but your guys behaviour is behond despicable. You wanna do your job right? Do a warning not apply a fine of almost of 200 for an error of someone that is not familiar with the area around.

Disabled father parked next to the hospital for an emergency in a perfectly normal parking spot with no signs or ground markings. Came back to find a fine for "parking in no parking zone". Disputed it on their website with overwhelming evidence showing that it was a normal parking spot with NO signs whatsoever, and of course the penalty still applies. They will always respond that the penalty still applies and the only real way to get it removed would be to go to court, but they know that the time and money involved in that is more than the fine so people will be forced to just pay it to get it over and done with. Ridiculous that someone can park in a spot and with no signage and still be booked. They should have signs saying that it's a no parking zone instead of BAITING people into parking in a normal spot to then hit them with a fine. Furthermore, the fact that my disabled father was parked besides a hospital for an emergency goes to show that they have no leniency/remorse or morals and are simply money hungry to reach their quotas. Absolutely unethical and their "Dispute a fine" system is nothing more than a waste of time. This was their reply "We acknowledge your comments indicating no signage contributed to this offence, however we are unable to cancel the penalty." If you don't believe me, find attached a photo of 2 cars parked in that spot (both fined) and you tell me where the 'no parking' signs are. At the very least, the parking fine should be removed and signs or road markings should be put up. Instead, they will keep the spot open and available with no signs, so that in the future they can continue to lure drivers to park there and cop an unexpected fine.

Called Revenue to pay some fines. They said they would send BPay details to my but never did. What are they going to do if this results in having to pay an overdue fine?

I don't trust them one bit, they said i have not given any proof that i was hindered from dealing with my penalty prior to the issue of Overdue Fine, this is wrong, i was in hospital for 3 weeks prior to the overdue, and they have refused my appeal to go to court. Just infuriates me.
