It's unfortunate that there's not more stores that can supply lawn bowlers with what they require to play their game. Fortunately for me this particular store was in Malvern and when they were getting ready to renovate the bowls club that occupied the site at Dendy park the lawn bowls club got the then owner to move to the new building. That move was perfect because of the fact that the Brighton bowls club built 2 indoor greens to attract international games to be played there. Unfortunately that backfired. But I got a store close to my place, and while its located inside the Brighton bowls club the chances of closing are pretty remote, which is great for the bowlers around and the surrounding areas that have a bowls store if there's not one closer to them. As for the store it has a few advantages from most bowls stores. One is that you don't have to walk far to try the new bowls which is fantastic to do before you commit to the sale, usually a place like that has someone or 2 working in the store that play's for the club and he is a champion of the game so the advice you will get is priceless. And if you didn't know them then you would not have picked who they were because they don't need to advertise who they are. They have a great selection of what you require to play the game and anything else can be ordered for. The size of the store is not that big but the service and the knowledge is something that you will appreciate. For the bowlers who use the store keep on doing it and to all others keep the store open

Great range and knowledgeable staff.
I purchased a set of second hand bowls. Being new Neil spent about an hour helping me. Great service
Pity my husband didn’t receive the same level of service that others have. The person (male) who served him yesterday could not have been more disinterested and unhelpful. Resting Toucher have lost a customer who was prepared to travel a couple of hours to purchase there. Ah well, their loss.
Amazing service. Kelly assisted me with a purchase of bowls over the phone, and the new set was on my doorstep in regional Vic the next day. Thank you.
Resting Toucher charged me 150 to replace a rod on a bowling arm which I could have purchased direct from Hunter Bowls for 30. Unfortunately because of the urgent need to replace the part I could not wait & had to pay the asking price .Of course a fair price covering Resting Touchers costs including profit was clearly appropriate but not this mark up which putting it kindly is over the top.
Probably the best bowls shop around if you're looking for a variety of options because they stock all the leading brands.
Hello Everyone, Have just bought my second set off bowls from Resting Toucher you cannot beat them for price and best of all for service. Also they will give a very good deal on your old set of bowls. It does not matter who you deal with at Resting Toucher they are all good folks to deal with. And you can try your bowls out to make sure you are happy with them after that go and have a cuppa in the café next door before you head home to try your new bowls out. Resting Toucher I would recommend them to anyone they bend over backwards to give you the best deal. Well folks happy bowling to you all from one very happy customer and have a great time with your bowls. From M&D. Townsend.
