Many thanks to Abram for being so kind, helpful and willing to ask for assistance when my requirements turned out to be a bit more complicated than I expected. Many thanks also to that senior colleague for taking the time and effort to solve our laundry tap problem so graciously, without embarrassing the beginners! Our double-decker taps are stupidly difficult to turn with wet hands and the new ones available are the same. Problem solved: go old school with two pairs of regular taps to match the kitchen & bathroom instead. The extra infrastructure cost will be worth it in the long term.
