Billy and the staff at The Actor's Pulse are the most helpful and insightful people in this business. I have found out so much in the world of screen, in Meisner and all things acting since I started there and I cannot wait for all the amazing memories, experiences and lessons I will have in the future. If you are thinking about getting into the industry and want professional training plus all the right skills to get you there; there is literally nowhere else like The Pulse. I would recommend this School to absolutely anybody and everybody interested in acting or becoming a Professional Actor. I love this place. Thank you for all the lessons and the opportunities! I am so ready to see all the levels of acting I can learn with you. Couldn't recommend this place enough. So grateful I found it. It's been life changing.

I've spent the past half year studying here and not only has it greatly driven my career in acting but has also become a more confident and open person in every day life. All the teachers are passionate and experienced. And I have never seen someone with as much passion and devotion as Billy (the creator of the pulse) has for his school. The first time I met Billy he was wiping down the handrails to the waiting area and I saw how much pride he took into what he has created that even decades later he still performs the utmost care for every aspect of this school. Highly recommend in studying here. For if you have a desire to go into acting or even if you want to gain confidence in your life and have fun at the same time. Long winded review sorry! But just had to say how amazing this school is!
I went to The Actors Pulse for many years, and it's still the best education I've ever received. The encouragement to try anything and everything was awesome. I met amazing people throughout my time there and the relationships you build are incredible. The lessons are second to none. The teachers know their stuff and can pinpoint areas that you're blind to. So you can focus on what needs to be worked on. The Actors Pulse made me a better man, person and all round human being. I can't speak highly enough of this place.
Before I came to The Actors Pulse I studied 3 years of Drama at University, I knew my training was not complete but I had no idea where to go from there. I started Pulse and may I say to you it was one of the best decisions of my life. What I have learnt in the last 6 months has changed my whole set of perceptions on Acting for the better. It has helped me apply myself and experiences that happen in my own life to Acting instead of applying Acting to me. This school teaches you how to act and it teaches you to discover deeper truths within yourself that enhance and create your own actor. The teachers are amazing. Billy is so supportive and gives so much passion into everything he does and just wants everyone to succeed. The Actor's Pulse is such a welcoming school for actors that just want to start out or one's that want to keep training, I could not recommend it highly enough.
If you are looking for an acting course to learn more skills, but also about life and yourself, look no further! Billy and his team are committed in helping you achieve your best both on screen and as a person. The community at the school is supportive and fun, and the classes themselves are impactful and practical
I recently finished one term in Actor's Pulse and I highly recomend it. The course really taught me a lot. I feel an improvement in my own work. The teachers are really good and pasionate about teaching. It was a great fun too!
The Actors Pulse is a supportive environment to develop your passion. The teachers are flexible and encouraging in helping you to learn at the pace you’re growing at and they are invested in helping you to become the best in your skill set. There is an awesome student culture. Rehearsals and practice are flexible as you’re in charge of your routine and time schedule. You can progress and enjoy it along side the rest of your work/life balance. You also get to work with many different students. There are good vibes and inspiration among the students and I found from the start that there were a lot of rehearsal buddies willing to help you and work with you even if they had been there longer and had progressed. There is practical performance and feedback that is helping me to layer in my foundations as an actor. It’s also really fun and I love the school. I feel that the teachers and admin genuinely care about you as a person. The Meisner Technique also helps with being present and grounded and the experience is also helpful to your own personal development. I’ve also observed as I’m building my foundations from the beginning Meisner levels that new students that haven’t had any previous acting or performing arts experience learn the technique as it unfolds and get it into their body. No one is thrown into the deep-end and the students have the opportunity to cultivate their confidence at the pace they are willing to work at. Actors with more professional working experience are also encouraged and adapted into the classes and delivery format. Overall there is a great balance in challenge and growth and the teachers and Director believe in you as a person.
Coming to acting later in life this is my first Acting course experience and it’s been a great one. Billy and his team make you feel welcome from day one and that hasn’t stopped. Even after a year. Having said that don’t expect an easy ride as you will be pushed and challenged to do your best. Comfort zones are destroyed but that’s the point. Highly recommend doing this course and as we are told it it’s life changing.
