The ferry is free if you walk or cycle, leaves every half hour or so, and takes you across the very short stretch of water to sleep Raymond Island. There's no cafes here, and not much to do, except walk around and see the Koalas, which can be found everywhere along the signposted koala trail.

Great service. Just remember if your going to see the Koalas you can leave the car behind and walk onto the ferry or bring your bike for free. No que either.
Raymond Island Ferry Service Visited on 9/3/2021 It is just a short ride on the Ferry from the bank of Paynesville to the Raymond Island. It is a free service. The Ferry is a very narrow vessel, half of the width is for cars, and the other for passengers.
Great fun only takes a few minutes to cross and plenty of koalas to be seen on the island well worth the time to have a look around but take drinks as there are no shops to get any on the island
We used the Ferry a few times over the course of day - great service. Ran on time every time. Free for pedestrians and cyclists heading to and from Raymond Island and Paynesville.
Nice and short ferry ride. We need to stay put in car, the operator will come to collect the fare.. Ferry service every five minutes
Ok very good service runs pretty much on time
