The garlic prawns to start were delicious. Steak was good but cooked very rare when we asked for medium rare (both steaks at our table came out very rare). My main issue though is charging 6 for the red wine jus. For a 52 steak the sauce should really come with it. A tiny serve of sauce along with an expensive steak dinner should not be 6 extra. It's a nice upscale place and charging for sauce there didn't sit quite right with me.

Tomahawk steak and ribs were amazing! Make sure you try the blue cheese sauce. Even the sticky date pudding was great. Would recommend and I’ll be back for sure. Staff was very friendly and looked after us all night.

Really great steakhouse in Melbourne CBD. I was looking for a good steak at the last minute. I called up Rare at 1.40pm and asked when they closed. The kitchen was supposed to close at 2pm but they let me and my husband come and have a late lunch which was supremely nice of the staff and the chef to stay behind for us. And it was so worth it (at least for us) - I had the eye fillet and the medium rare was done to perfection. My husband said his salmon was fantastic. The side of beans and broccolini was buttery and moreish but still light and refreshing. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere but ultimately the floor and kitchen staff made the experience. Well absolutely come back here - it's just become my favourite steakhouse in Melbourne.

It’s our family favourite restaurant for eight years, and the most amazing thing is that the food is exactly the same - perfectly cooked and very well presented. Staff is always friendly, restaurant is clean and nice and looks cozy as usual. We missed you during the lockdown, and it was a big pleasure to come and have a dinner again! Thank you! I highly recommend this place to everyone, you will find something wonderful in a menu and fall in love with this place as we did !

We had a wonderful time dining at this restaurant. The combination of great food, excellent service and the ambient atmosphere provided for a great experience. Staff also went out if their way ensuring that our halal dietary requirements were met. Will definately go back.

Wow, never been here before but I'll be back for sure. Food was great, service was good and reasonable prices. Best Pork ribs I've ever had.

Amazing service even more amazinger food. Not a full meat lover but they guided me though the whole steak experience. 10/10 would go again. Prices for the food are very fair
