Normally the service is usually quick but tonight we got our meals quite late in a not so busy night. Keeping 3 year olds focused was a challenge too. Meals were good though

Meals are amazing!!!! Well proportioned meals with loads of flavour, staff are very nice and extremely attentive. Definitely recommend.
Avoid if you can. The parma is dry and steaks overcooked. The girls who serve you in the restaurant need to learn customer service as you can tell they do not want to be there. The guy in the main bar is the only reason to go. He is super friendly and brings the atmosphere. Have drinks and skip the food.
This place has a lovely cozy vibe in the dining area. Food is really good, I recommend their Parma's and they do a good salad. Steaks are always perfectly cooked. Staff are generally quite attentive but can come across a bit brash, sometimes feeling like my presence is an inconvenience. Overall I'd recommend giving the Racecourse Hotel a go if you're looking for a clean, homely traditional pub.
Recommend Racecourse hotels restaurant for a nice quite evening. Mains are well proportioned, and absolutely gorgeous. Very fresh produce and very high quality cuts of steak, and the Parma is to die for.

I had the chef's choice parma. My god it was amazing. The service was terrific. Had a great time and would definitely go back again.
Fabulous lunch, had the Lemon Calamari, lots of flavour and very good value for money. Service was excellent and quick. Delish
