I arrived at Balcatta 9.50 I thought the office said it would be an hour. I am thinking time to stay. The gentleman at the front desk. Knew I was waiting and concerned about a few hours sitting there. Within 59 mins it was done. Thank you so much. Great customer service.

I have had my car serviced with RAC Balcatta and am happy with the actual service each time. Last Friday I had my car serviced there again and was very disappointed in the office staff. .On booking my car in I advised I had an appointment I needed to make at 3pm and was told if my vehicle was there by 8 this would not be a problem. I advised the staff at Balcatta when I dropped the vehicle off. I rang at 2.20 and was told it would be ok to come and pick it up by 2.30. I arrived at 2.35 to see it still on the hoist. I asked several times if I could pay beforehand as I had an appointment. I did not get my car until 3.10 and he was deliberately delaying me. I was very angry and will not be recommend ing the RAC to friends or family.
Booked me in for very next day. Alex on the desk was very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. RAC Balcatta - Car was serviced extra quickly at very reasonable cost. Brilliant customer service - much appreciated!
Worst service ever, I dropped my car off for a check of an issue i had been having at a initial startup. I left my car there for a day, they contacted me and said that they had found nothing wrong with the vehicle. I was told they had to send it off down the road to an electrical diagnostic place which i was happy to do pending cost. The guy was to call me back with price but never did, i found days later they had sent it anyway even though they hadn’t contacted me. There was very minimal contact through out the week and half the vehicle was there, i was always chasing them up for progress information. No electrical issues where found but they expressed it was the timing belt that was causing the problem as it skipped a couple of teeth and the timing was out. They quoted me 1000 which included a water pump change. Due to my financial status, i had to collect the car in the same state i left it. I called them the day before to find out how much i was to pay, the guy said there was nothing owing on the account. On collection, i was still unsure as to what was wrong with the car so asked for a print out but was given nothing and was refused a printed sheet. They also tried to charge me 180 for a diagnostic fee even though a day before i was told i owed nothing so i refused to pay the ridiculous amount. I got a second opinion as i wasn’t convinced the timing belt was the issue. To no surprise (as the service i got at RAC balcatta was sh*t), the timing belt was not in the state they had said. If i had paid the 1000, the car would still be in that same state and i would be in the same position in which i was when i left the car. The problem was the fuel filter intake pump as it had metal deposits and the car runs fine now. I also highly doubt they checked this as it was completely filthy and no marks of movement on the chamber. There was little to no communication, disgusting customer service and i believe all they wanted was money. Rip off!!! Take your car elsewhere!!
