My family of four stayed here for a month when we first moved here from Victoria. The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was helpful and kind to our children. It’s a quick walk to the botanical gardens and the queen street mall. Great location! Great staff! Great experience!

I did not actually stay here I live here. So there are several things I wish to say in regards to the ineptness of staff. Firstly the manager's (Julie) husband threatened me and told me that he would get me. Since this time I have refused to be in any closed space with me, he does not accept this and continues to enter the lift even though I have informed him not to. I leave the lift which inconveniences me. The other thing is that there are no disabled parking spaces available for guests, they have been privately rented out and they have indicated several times that they have no requirement to provide parking. There is no servicing on Sunday this means that any rubbish and glasses (such as wine bottles are left until Monday). There is also a multitude of garbage that occurs not only in the carparking area but also in the stair case - such as used condoms, cardboard boxes and food wrappers. Finally, in regards to postage they have told me that they can refuse to take mail and postage and recently I have had two parcels rejects and one go missing. Julie was too busy on the phone to communicate with me. I would recommend staying at the Hilton which is just down the street and is better value for money.

Very poor experience. Stayed one night with two 3 bedrooms rooms. Aircon didn’t work in one room. Was a hot day and room was sitting at 30 degrees. Told someone would come fix, front desk came and said they fixed it. Still didn’t work. Had 6 people staying and trying to get ready for dinner in a hot room. Then told was too late to get anyone in to look at the aircon and told fans would be brought up to room. They weren’t brought up until we rang again at 10:30pm and one fan was brought up for 3 rooms! We complained again when checking out and was refunded 50 for our trouble, which we agreed to but I had to keep ringing and ringing about wasn’t refunded for another 2 weeks and wouldn’t of been if I didn’t keep ringing. Will not be staying again.

Great location and value for a mid week business stay. Apartments are welcoming, spacious and clean. The Manager was so accommodating for our various requests out of the normal - it was much appreciated. We will definitely be back !

Lack of communication and professionalism by staff. The room was not clean or up to standard for the price. Having stayed at the Quest in Woolloongabba and having a fantastic experience there I had high hopes. Unfortunately it was not a pleasant stay and as I have a disability and was there for respite I felt the way that I was spoken to when initially checking in was uncalled for and that the issues with deposits should have been made aware prior (especially as there was a phone call made prior to check ing with myself amd my support coordinator and who I can only assume was the manager). The amenities where not working properly in some areas. The dryer constantly turned itself off, the lights in the bedroom wouldn't dim and the lifts broke down. The cleaning service was very average as well. Only one clean in a two week period and they didn't even do the dishes. Suffice to say I will not be staying again which is unfortunate as the location is ideal and I won't recommend others with disabilities either as the staff (the young lady on the weekend was the exception to this) do not seem to have any empathy or understanding to people with disabilities.

DO NOT COME TO THIS HOTEL !!!! This hotel ruined my 21st birthday, which was a special occasion in my life. 1. The lifts (BOTH) were broken on and off for the whole 48 hour stay I was staying in the penthouse. This means it took 27 flights of stairs to reach which was an absolute horror. 2.The staff and management were rude to my partner, as she waited for me to pay the 1,000 bond that was not discussed prior to arrival, they refused to let her park her car until i arrived 10 minutes later (both of us felt bullied by the male staff member on both these events). 3. my partner STOOD ON GLASS IN THE SHOWER! I have photo evidence of all of these statements which i still have available on my device. 4. Upon lifting the shower mat, there was extreme mould under it. 5. Wiring was coming out of the walls, very unsafe. 6. Upon emailing the manager, she was quite rude. offering me a free night stay voucher (I took this as an admission of fault by the hotel). However, upon attempting to use the voucher the manager (who represented herself as the owner of the Quest River Park Hotel) said I cannot stay on this night 'due to higher demand of rooms', But the room is available on booking.com. 7. The general manager/'owner' refused to give me the higher management contact so we could consult this further. Furthermore her tone was very aggressive and unprofessional, talking over me to stop me from asking for details. Overall, I would seriously suggest that you stay away from this Quest River Park Central hotel. Overpriced, poorly staffed and sketchy business behaviour. Will be staying very clear of this company at all costs. In my opinion is there much better hotels in Brisbane for much cheaper pricing.

Staff were extremely rude and hard to deal with. Was charged a 500 bond for a one night stay without being told prior to booking that this was apart of their policy. Staff told me that it was on their website and booking.com which was a straight up lie as I searched EVERYWHERE on the site and couldn’t find it anywhere. Upon leaving I was asked to email my bank account details for the bond to be refunded was told it would be released on the Monday. I never received an email saying my bond was released so I rang on Thursday to check what was going on only to be told they’ve told the bank to fix it and it’s not their problem anymore. I then received an email 15 minutes later telling me my details were wrong (when they weren’t) after replying they then said they have processed my bond refund today. Once again, lying saying it wasn’t their problem as they already released it when they hadn’t. Will NEVER stay here ever again!
