Unfairly dismissed. Not a good place to work. Toxic bullying culture. Given 3 days of intensive training (several programs to learn) and expected to be super fast in 9 days of actual on the job work. Told lies to dismiss me. One being I had no 'cut and paste skills' or 'no mouse skills'!! Do not recommend working in the admin area. If you have any kind of heart, its a liability. Do not speak up or you will be knocked down in your place. And do not have any emotion. Work like a robot. Tears are unacceptable. Your mental health does not matter at all. No support is given. Casual relief pool has decreased over the years at this institution, and now I completely understand why. People are leaving in the droves. That tells you everything you need to know.

First time @ the CH with my youngest daughter. Referral from my doctor this morning to head straight there. The staff were wonderful and thorough with my bub. The guy on the counter of the emergency department put us through into a room straight away. He was great. The staff ran us through everything before and during every step. All the staff that dealt with us were kind and lovely and very thorough with bub checking everything. Katie, Nadia, Sarah, Felix and Milly were fantastic. Thank you very much for being so great with me, my mum and bub. Service was impeccable. Thank you to the 2 guys on the front counter on the 1st floor of the outpatients. With smiles on their faces and politely helping me where to go as I didnt have a clue, they very awesome. The security guard on the front door of the emergency exit, thank you for letting us back in when we got lost getting back to the car. Everyone was lovely. Thank you

I just want to say thank you to Dr Nicholls and the all team of the oncology department of the Queensland Children Hospital who treated our beautiful little Anastasia. The help and support has been amazing. The compassion shown to our family was so heart warming! The PICU is not a place where anyone wants to be but if your child needs their assistance, I don't think that you will find a better team elsewhere. The playing facilities in place for the children youngs patients or their visitors) are fantastic as well as the young animators who entertain the children. THANK YOU again!

What a place to be! I always go to the hospital to drop brother and it just feels like a home with expert nurses and doctors looking after.

I'd love to give this hospital 5 stars but there is one individual in our experience letting so many amazing staff and the reputation of this hospital down. I am calling first thing tomorrow morning to request to change oncology doctors after one in particular repeatedly has his patients waiting for up to 3 hours or more past their scheduled consult time. We travel from the Sunshine Coast and have long days at the hospital as it is between medical imaging, ophthalmology, neuro surgery consultations as well as oncology. I can not stress this enough: if you can not imagine yourself tolerating a three hour wait with your own child or grandchild into the night, watching other patients or colleagues come into the consulting rooms of the doctor you are waiting to see, knowing your child is next in line to be seen, don't do it to other people. I am so disgusted right now. No words can express how angry I am. With this being the fifth time in a row we've had to endure this with the same oncology doctor, I fail to believe there's a good enough reason other than poor time management and lack of consideration for those watching the hours wile away. Surely there's a better way/ system than this.

The Hospital is wonderful but they should review who is working for them as this is a direct reflection on them. As a distraught parent I was taking a moment to myself when a Paul head of security approach me and was so rude and arrogant I was speechless and to think he is in a position of power and a manager. I only pray this doesn't happen to other parents or children. Please review your staff and they way they communicate to parents.
