Had a wonderful experience this morning on a guided tour with John. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, entertaining and passionate. All the hallmarks of an excellent tour guide. This place is volunteer-run, and it was a privilege to meet the team of volunteers busying away in various parts of the museum. A highly recommended stop down in Queenscliff. A lot of stories on the Colony of Victoria to present, from a literally impressive vantage point. Queenscliffe.

An interesting museum with a lot of old items which are polished and precipitated by time.
Great group. Passionate people willing to share knowledge. Happy to share volunteer work. A WONDERFUL PLACE FOR PARENTS TO HELP PROMOTE CURIOSITY IN THEIR CHILDREN.
I really loved the way the guide explained the history and importance of the place
A great place to visit while in the area. Very friendly staff and lots of interesting things.
Surprisingly enjoyable little museum! Packed with lots of historical items, knowledge and quite a few interactive exhibits too! Extends outdoors - sheds, jail cell, etc.
Lovely little museum showcasing Queenscliff's history and shipwrecks off its coast. Mary gave us a short but informative tour, and some fascinating little nuggets of history along the way that we highly appreciated!
I used to work here but didn't get paid. Usually I had nothing to do, but whenever I was needed the work was usually gruelling. I needed to move some heavy objects and shovel some dirt while I had a sore wrist. But to be fair I didn't tell my superiors. They weren't to know - I was just trying to put on a brave face
