Due to covid the Harvest buffet is unfortunately closed but they now offer an a la carte breakfast option, so my wife and I decided to give it a try. We both ordered the All Star breakfast (big breakfast). My wife had scrambled eggs with hers which were cooked to perfection, so light and fluffy and my eggs were perfectly poached. The mushrooms had the most amazing flavour, the hash brown was flavourful and the piece of sourdough bread was the perfect addition. My only criticism was there were some inconsistencies with the bacon, some pieces were perfectly cooked whilst some were burnt. We had swapped out the roasted tomatoes for extra bacon but weren’t told it would be an extra charge until we paid. However, we did get an extra sourdough bread at no additional cost. There was also a self serve drinks station which had different juices and hot beverages available. The staff were very friendly, especially our waiter Maurizio. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Really fantastic service from him. The food was a little bit pricey but that’s to be expected considering location and it tasted great so we didn’t mind paying it. We can’t wait for the buffet to be back but in the interim we would happily have breakfast here again.

Love this place, it's my mum's and my go-to buffet. Huge selection and great quality. Not a fan of the desserts at all, they're a bit artificial and I prefer a homemade taste. But there's so much savoury stuff I like that I don't care. Also being a vegetarian I'm still very well catered for. Patiently waiting for it to re-open!!
This is our favourite place for reunions, christmas and birthday celebrations. I really missed this place. I hope the harvest buffet will open soon. We will be there in a hurry.
I’ve never noticed this restaurant, it’s a bit hidden next to the casino. I’ve been there on Saturday night so it was busy, there was a line to go inside and we had to wait. But then they gave us a table in a quite area. Buffet has a good choice of food, I liked it, especially the cheesecake was delicious. After few days I was told this place is famous for their fish. Unfortunately I didn’t tried much fish dishes, maybe next time.
Value for money. Lots of food choices and the quality was good. Paid some 162 for three persons to have the all you can eat buffet at the Star was a real deal. For seafood, oyster, shrimps, clams and mussels were available. Hot dishes got pan fried salmon, roast chicken, grilled beef, lamb, assorted pizzas, pasta and curry. There were salad corner, sushi bar, coffee and tea station and various mouthwatering desserts like chocolate fondue etc. I particularly liked the seafood and cheese macaroni. Good dining experience on a Sunday.
Quite a nice buffet with good selection (and very wide variety) of food. The decor is very modern and feels quite luxurious, everything seems clean, and the waiters come and clear dishes and clean up frequently, and are very polite. There were always dishes and cutlery available when required. I found the seafood options a bit underwhelming (prawns, mussels, clams, and sushi, with chili crab in another section), but we were there on a Monday night, so it wasn't seafood night. The refresh/refill of the food was very good, there wasn't any long period that the serving stations were empty of any dish, so I guess it is better to go on a busier night, as from my observation they didn't run out of food, so everything was 'fresher'. The pizzas were a bit dry and overcooked, probably because they were sitting under the heat lamp, and the roast was a bit tough. I think things like stews, curries, and dishes in sauce are better suited to the buffet experience. The roast chicken was quite good though if you get a fresh batch. The chili crab was precooked crab that was then fried in the chili sauce, so it ended up feeling a bit overcooked, while not really absorbing the sauce properly. Big selection of desserts too, which is great (or terrible) for kids. Multiple chocolate fountains, and a soft serve machine, plus popcorn to keep them happy (but exceedingly sugared up). The price is slightly on the high side for what you get, but it is located in a premium location. You also get parking validated if you eat here, which is a nice bonus if you are already at the star.
My family loves this place, I miss it so much! I hope you will open soon for business
Had my breakfast here on Saturday 27th Feb and the service was a disaster. To get in it took 15 mins waiting as the person letting us in was also cleaning tables, checking ppl in and chatting with everyone. Once seated the limited waiters were doing their best to avoid eye contact, as there were too many customers but less than 5 staff taking orders, cleaning tables and bringing food/drinks. Furthermore vegans had only 2 options. Book an expensive room with breakfast and get this service in the morning.. Really disappointed
