I would not give this union the time of day because when I went to them in the time of need I was told to go home and stop whinging yet he sat there oh his bottom shining the chair so it would shine. I went to the union because at the time I was being bullied by my then supervisor and I was advised to go to the union who did nothing for me. Other staff persons have supported members in time of need and this union use the power they have and people stop supporting giving help because they are banging their heads against a brick wall while the union have so much power. No wonder you are not getting members to join because you don't so anything to support paid members. Ask me and I will tell you members out there that this union did lift one finger to help me so why support something that does nothing. Administration staff are crying out for help because the demands are so they can't keep up with the daily work demands and volunteers like myself who have got over 30 years or more experience doing Admin work get over looked because they are taking paid admin staff jobs away. This union and other unions need to reconsider the help of volunteers especially those who have got past experience in being a Government Administrative officer.
