At the beginning we were super impressed by the follow up and customer service. However as soon as we engaged property styling Melbourne it was one disappointment after another. A site visit was carried out and inventory decided. 20% of the items listed were not delivered. The items shown as examples on other styling jobs by the company were superior to what we received. The furniture was marked, dirty and didn’t flow with the home style at all. When I expressed disappointment, I was told that they would look into it and get back to me with some options. This never happened. The overall look of the staging appeared thrown together and messy- perhaps made up of leftover items. Definitely not the classic and luxurious interior design requested. This 900k home was not presented to appeal to our target buyer whatsoever. Then I was charged more to use the buy now, pay later facility even though the agreement explicitly states this is not to occur and against contract terms. I was even charged to use my own bathroom staging items! When bought to the company’s attention, response was slow and not acceptable. The expense of using this company was much greater than the three alternate quotes we received but we went with them due to the initial customer service levels and promised end result along with the payment option. There has been no resolution and unanswered emails. The whole process has been stressful and disappointing. As a real estate agent myself, I’m not foreign to property staging and the benefits influencing the end result. I will not be recommending this company to any of my clients or colleagues.
Great service, the company was easy to deal with and styled my property with beautiful updated furniture. The house had a great feel and we sold prior to auction, I would use Suzanne and her team again.
