Fantastic place for snorkeling. Fish are found very close to shore and they are not that afraid of human. Goes to show how much a sanctuary can help the environment restore to its natural ways.

Fly Point is probably the best shore based location to go snorkelling and scuba diving in NSW. It's a great place for families to visit as it offers a great opportunity for children, and grown ups, to undertake snorkeling in a location suitable for beginners. It's important to enter the water around high tide as this is when the water will be clearest.

Great place to view the dolphins. Just be careful on the rocks (or better yet avoid the temptation for a better view of the wildlife and stay on the sand). Finding a starfish was an unexpected bonus too

Amazing, great for first time snorkelers. Saw loots of pretty fish and coral.

Nice beach for some sand play and swim with the kids. No waves and no crowds so the kids loved it!

Check the swell and conditions. Depending on the weather it's perfect conditions or choppy and murky. Got both on the same day, before and after a storm.
