On a beautiful 28c degree day I rang Easy Kayak Rentals at 11am (2 hours after opening) to book 3 kayaks in the afternoon. I was advised that unless I can get there shortly I would not be able to. This was due to it being a "quiet day and it costs me money to be open". I can understand being a small business that it may be difficult on a quiet day however I am disappointed that two hours into the day that they have decided to finish for the day, even if customers are ringing on advance to make a booking. If you are considering renting a kayak I would recommend ringing a few days in advance and ensure they won't cancel your booking as they are having a slow morning.
Took our young daughter down today and had a blast! I will definitely be back again.
