Koala Hospital is small but very educational. Great for children. Koalas are Australia's favourite animal. It is sad to know that this lovely animal existence is in trouble all because of us (humans). So grab a tree that is provided and plant it somewhere special

What a delightful place. Genuine love and care for koalas. Volunteer guides take time to talk to and explain to interested visitors, particularly children. Great place to really see koalas up close. Only koalas never to be released because of age or injury can be seen by public. Those being prepared for release kept private.

Great knowledge and good place to see koalas only takes a half hour to see everything although you have to book because of covid at the moment.

was a fun place to visit but most importantly the work they do is amazing and very important... the girls loved it ... support this great cause just by going and buying a little something or donate

Well managed space for a good cause. The staff are very friendly too. We were there 20min tops so it’s not very big but recommend stopping by to check it out.

Beautiful location. The Port Macquarie koala hospital rehabilitates and cares for koalas that are injured. And the resident koalas are the ones that wouldn't survive back in the wild. Definitely a place to check out and support.

A must stop when you visit Port Macquarie. We loved our visit to the koala hospital, you must book via the website due to covid, they have a limit of people for each session. I'd recommend either booking the 8:30 am session or the 2:30 pm session, that's when the koalas most active (they apparently sleep for 20 hours a day). This is definitely the #1 highlight during our stay in Port Macquarie.
