Great experience. Tour of historical homestead and complimentary wine tasting provided by enthusiastic volunteers. We then enjoyed a cheese platter and glass of our favourite wine overlooking the garden then purchased some additional bottles to enjoy later. Recommended for those interested in the Port Macquarie area or wine.

This place is so cute! It's run by really sweet and friendly volunteers and has a great story and historical element. They also have super cheap plants for sale. Worth a visit if you want something different to your regular wine tasting experience. The wines are probably 4/5.

A great example of local history run by passionate volunteers with a small vineyard too boot. A glimpse of the past through early settlers family trees, photos and belongings.

Amazing. Spent most of the time on a private tour of the garden. Wines are not to shabby also. Will definitely visit again.

Great open day. Old-fashioned wares, some for sale. Stores with locally made produce - bought a great white Hungarian salami. Wine tasting of wines made on premises. Worth a look.

Great place to visit, the house is very historic the gardens and Vinyard are wonderful and the wine they make is the best in the area, the portabelo is like nectar

A charming volunteer run winery with a rich history and friendly staff. The wine tasting was free and provided a unique experience as the grape varietals grown are quite different from the normal shiraz and cabernet grapes found across the hunter or orange valleys. Close to the city, its a perfect detour to buy a glass and walk through the charming grounds or speak to the volunteers to learn about its rich history as part of a once bustling wine region in the early days of Australia.

Wonderful place and thoroughly enjoyed the history and all the fabulous things they are doing to preserve this very quaint winery. Plus the wine tasting was excellent
