A great experience with the community volunteers. They provide an entertaining presentation and time on the telescope (weather permitting). Make sure to book ahead online.

The volunteers were lovely and very knowledgeable. The talk was interesting. It was just a shame the clouds were to much to see through the telescope. Had a great time.

Venue was a lot smaller than I expected! But you can tell it’s looked after by some folks that are very passionate about astronomy! We paid 15pp for a hour of talk & seeing the telescope. It was very informative and went into a fair bit of detail around the Big Bang and atoms and Proxima Centauri.

Enjoyed the talk at Port Macquarie Astronomical Observatory. You need to book and pay for the talk. The talk we attended was an hour long about our Solar System.

Amazing place. Great experience. Dusty and Mike and all the beautiful people at the Observatory were just too good. Got loads of info as well as got to see the moon craters, Jupiter with 4 moons and Saturn with 1 moon. Best experience of my Port Macquarie trip. A must visit.
