Had lunch at Popolo yesterday for a big group birthday celebration. Wow is not enough to describe our experience there. The food was cooked to perfection. Calamari so tender so sweet .My mouth had a field day. The next course was even better. Ive never had ricotta gnocchi that light and fluffy. Melted in my mouth. The next course kept up the experience of perfection. Barramundi was delicate and beautiful. The staff were of the highest quality. Couldn't do enough for all of us. Thank you for making my day

Stunning views, nice staff and food was lovely. Only loss of star was that the food didn't come out together, a lot of people do share plates but not everyone, and there was nearly 20 mins between my pasta coming out and my partners pizza. Dessert was exceptional though!
Had lunch on Sunday sitting in the front row overlooking the river. Just fantastic. Food was delicious resourcing the pork and fennel meat balls.
We had a group of eight. We had a fantastic night! The staff went out of their way to accommodate our wishes and were attentive, cheerful, patient....and tolerant all night. They knew we were having a great time and let us stay late. The food was delicious, the weather was beautiful, the table position and view of the river on a spring night was fantastic. The food was so good that my spouse and I went back for dinner the next night, just to have the ravioli again. We can highly recommend this restaurant and we can't wait to dine there again.

I went for dinner with my boyfriend and we had an amazing time here. The T-bone and the fish of the day were delicious. The wine that the waitress/sommelier chose for us was a beautiful Sicilian red. The service was excellent and we enjoy all the food.
Came here mostly recently mid-Feb 2020 for a girls night and it was lovely. Good vibes, drinks and food choices and quality was great. Also came here in 2019 for Valentines where we did the picnic pack and I remember it being so good and such a great idea with the venue being situated across the lawn with city views.
Although I love Italy, Italian food is not my favourite. Came here with friends, we ordered a number of dishes to share and everything was delicious. Did not share our deserts, but am assured by the others the deserts lived up to the other food. The ambience by the river was lovely and while we overstayed, the staff were gracious about us being the last to leave. I will have to bring the family.
