Quality range of wines, focusing purely on Semilion and Shiraz, which is what the Hunter Valley is renowned for. The staff are always knowledgeable and extremely professional in delivering a wine tasting. Really interesting hearing about the different locations that they grow their grapes, and seeing the changing colours of the earths on display from each these locations. Great to understand how a (relatively) small change of location can result in such a change in flavour profile. If you're visiting the Hunter, Thomas Wines is a must stop, it's a fantastic experience.

We arrived without booking and Nico got us set up for a tasting quickly and took us through the wines which were excellent. The service and the wine experience overall was the pick of our 2 day trip to the Hunter Valley. As a result I rejoined the wine club and got a dozen Mixed wines as well. Andrew Thomas wines are some of the best quality and priced wines in the Valley. Highly recommended!
It was a great experience to visit Thomas Wines cellar door. Their wines are extremely interesting and very good , with distinct aromas and flavors, and a particular character.

We had a great tasting here. The young guy Brody who took us through their lineup was engaging and knowledgeable. The wine is as good as you will find anywhere, well priced and a great range. A great experience all round.
Great cellar door! From two single grapes (Semillon&Shiraz), it’s blurry how you can make elegant and different wines. Essential place to visit for a wine tasting in the Hunter Valley. Thanks to Nico for his hospitality and his great wine knowledge shared. Merci et à bientôt!
