Poke California is by far the best Poke on the GC and my favourite place for lunch in Surfers. Love getting the fresh salmon and tuna, but the Karaage is awesome too. Super fresh food, great selection of salads, very good prices, the owner is a legend and the staff are always so friendly!!! Thank you Poke California ️

Chose the build your own bowl option. Plenting of toppings to choose from although I only picked 3. Had the chicken karrage. Staff were friendly and helpful. Decent sized meal for 14.50

The last several times I've been eating here I have noticed the food to be incredibly bland. Also the lady serving me hardly adds any toppings. Especially the crunchy pork and seaweed. She was also rude.The food lately also doesn't seem as fresh. I'm not sure what they have changed but I could not finish my meal. I ate 3 mouthfuls and tossed the rest into the bin. Never coming back here
Disrespectful staff member scoffed at gluten free questions. Asked me to "use my common sense". As a coeliac this was very disheartening, not what you want to hear when the menu implies all items are gluten free. Would never come back. Stay away from this venue if you have food allergies of any kind.
Great stuff from the menu, seats, to the very ingredients. It just works in a bowl - whether you're choosing cubes of sashimi variety or if you opted for cooked proteins like chicken or beef; normally placed on a foundation of rice of your choosing. You can create your own combination from scratch which is brilliant. Customer service maybe not the best but you will at least get a great healthy takeaway.
My partner asked a staff member about some dietary restrictions he has. We waited for an explanation or guidance with choice but the staff member offered nothing. My partner then asked the ingredients of some items and was told "use common sense". Made things awkward and we left with no food.
