Nice and fresh fish and chips. Definitely the best in the Merrimac/Nerang/Highland Park/Carrara area. Highly recommended. Advise to pickup, so it's nice and fresh.

First Timers wanted a quick dinner after driving back from the Sunny Coast. Fish and Chips and Calamari and Chips. Excellent Portion-Size (Two pieces of Fish for one order) and some of the best Chips we've had on the Coast in a long time.

MERRIMAC hey there im a new member on this page but have been here most my life going to PJ’s chicken and seafood growing up...i knew leo well i used to come down all the time and stay around longer than just getting fast food... Leo sadly passed not too long ago and during his last days he passed the business onto Masa who now runs it. I have heard from around gold coast bad reviews about PJ’s and the neighbor shops seem to think Leo has stuffed it for Masa... I want to get this out there because i love this place i loved Leo and i love Masa..i want this place to be more busy it is way better than maccas or the other burger shops at worongary town centre. He is hard working and deserves way more than he receives and personally has more passion for the cooking than what leo ever did besides when i came down and got orders of ‘AFC’ (Aussie Fried Chicken) he made it fresh as just for me. Masa even has Japanese delicacies available on top of that I love the burgers and chips here, i am dieting and in a routine of hard work and sport to get fit. On occasions to treat myself for a PJ’s works burger no egg no pineapple tomato sauce and mayo and ohhh waaaay better than any burger ive had in Queensland.
