Unfortunately I engaged this business to replace my bimini spray cover, dodger, sail cover and link strip (bimini to dodger). The quote was for 3200.00. The problem was nothing fitted correctly and alterations had to be made, this required cutting and re-stitching, leaving pencil marks and needle holes that were and still are, unsightly (although I was told in a very patronising manner that these holes would disappear). At the end of the day I had already paid 2300.00 of the original quote of 3200.00 (71%) and had arranged a meeting with the proprietor to discuss my concerns about the work so far. On the day of the meeting I was receiving a medical check up after having a heart attack the previous week. Needless to say I completely forgot about our appointment and rang the proprietor to apologise and inform him that as an act of goodwill I had deposited a further 400.00 into his account, taking the total amount paid to 2700.00 (84%) for a job that so far was just terrible. Upon returning to my boat I was confronted with a mess of mineral turps, water and grey paint having been accidentally splashed throughout the wheel house, by the proprietor which will require extensive cleaning and polishing. (I had been repainting my deck) When I tried to reschedule our appointment the proprietor informed me that he required payment in full and would withhold the link strip before returning to the job. Subsequent correspondence has failed to reach a mutually satisfactory outcome. Unfortunately I have a job that is incomplete and just awful, not to mention the damage to the wheel house. The attached photos speak for themselves. A job that should have had an enjoyable outcome has caused me nothing but stress.Terrible workmanship and a bullying nature. Give this business a “wide berth”. (Pardon the pun). Funny how once you get your second review in over a year, that amazingly there appears 2 raving reviews. You and I both know the real story and the photos speak for themselves.

Pittwater Canvas covers was recommended to us. We found Bruce to be very communicative, professional and gave us some really great advice about projects we needed to get done. We got a new boom cover and lazy jacks made and we are very happy with the quality, workmanship and the timeframe in which they were made. Thank you Bruce, we are looking forward to getting the rest of the deck canvas made by you, it’s going to all look fantastic.

Sometimes it is the small jobs that are hardest to get done; and done well. Bruce gave very good value for money, good workmanship and a week early. I will be going back for future canvas work.

It’s not good advertising for your business when you drive your clearly labelled ute deliberately close to cyclists up McCarrs Creek Rd (21/12/17 just after 7am). Do potential customers want to reward this sort of behaviour? Response to owner's statement: I don’t believe there is any such law you refer to and we weren’t riding in the middle of the road. I was in single file but Rule 151 of the NSW Road Rules 2014 states a bicycle rider is allowed to ride alongside another rider. Also the new Transport NSW rules from March 2016 state a driver must keep their vehicle more than 1 metre away from a bicycle when they pass. If I see you do this again, I will make a report to the police, along with reference to your cavalier attitude to road safety which is now on public record. Do people want to do business with such an aggressive guy?
