Definitely worth visiting this place regardless of what your interests are. If your not into Australian history, or anything military then your sure to enjoy the amazing panoramic view if nothing else. I have lived on the Central Coast my entire life & when I recently found out the place existed I raced up there to check it out straight away & with little preparation, arriving at the Bunker just before dark so I regrettably didn’t get to spend much time up there before I had to leave. I suggest if you want to check it out for yourself, give yourself plenty of time to hang out & enjoy the view & also pack some binoculars & a decent camera other than just your phone - hence why I have not included any photos in my review. I will defiantly be revisiting this place many times in the future. Positives: Great view, amazing piece of military history & there is no entry fee - it just cost your time to trek up there. It’s also a relatively clean place with next to no litter left behind from previous visitors so it would be great if it could stay that way for the future. Negatives: None, aside from my lack of preparation.
If you are interested in military history these bunkers operated one of the few radar stations outside of Britain during WW2.
Nice little piece of history.
