called up just before close about a vf ssv and stated that i would like to purchase the car. owner Peter said he was happy to take off the stamp duty charges from the price due to me being in Melbourne. I then mentioned i was willing to leave a deposit and his response was that it was Friday and he was leaving to go home. fair enough, i accepted that. He suggested that i call the dealership the next morning at 8.30am. the following morning i called and spoke to a sales rep as Peter wasn't in yet. i told the rep i wanted the car and was happy to leave a deposit. the sales rep explained that he'd rather i speak to peter directly because i was dealing with Peter the day before. he stated that peter would call me as soon as he was in to do the deal. 30 minutes later, the car was marked as sold. no contact made to let me know, i found out through the carsales app. pretty poor effort from a franchise dealer. a little bit of honesty and respect goes a long way. obviously not for these guys.
Had my HRV serviced today, received great service both in making the booking and today in taking the car in. Wouldn't take my car anywhere else, great personalised service from the team. Could not be happier with the service and love supporting this business!
This place is a scam. Called up first thing in the morning about a car that went online late the night before, told them I wanted to leave a deposit and book my flights to collect it on Monday. Got in touch over as soon as they opened and they said yes, the car is yours let me get somebody to call you back so we can process it. (Even told me the best way to get there via the airports etc) Hung up on me without taking a deposit or letting me close the deal but I thought fair enough, I have their word. 1 hour later the car is marked as sold and I missed out!? I was absolutely spewing that they could sell it out from under me after telling me I had already purchased it. 4 WEEKS LATER IT'S MARKED AVAILABLE ON CARSALES FOR THOUSANDS MORE? Admit your mistakes from the get go, don't lie to your customers. I would never deal with them again.
They don’t want your money they said we’re not desperate to sell a car they won’t even take 500 of the sale price we had cash on the spot. Would not recommend they don’t even want to loan you a drive car unless you buy it from them customer service sucks
