Western power calls it a planned power outage. Fails to notify people. Do it on a Sunday when people are home and on a 37c day. Absolutely brain dead decision.

Apparently any work for it to be planned work has to be more than 72 hours notice. This way their contractor's only have to report it under this and it becomes unplanned. Watched them take 3 hours to deliver a pole only to come back the next day to install it. If I was able to I would have given less than 1 star.

Western Power came to attend to my apartment complex over 6 months ago. They left behind at least 10 sandbags. I have been asking these to pick up for months. Very poor workmanship!!!!
Very poor customer service and who turns peoples power of at 7am on a Monday? The only electricity company in W.A. Half a star would be better suited.
Bunch of thieves! Stealing our power and giving us a measly 3cents now, so they are making a huge profit by stealing power from its own customers, and trying to make excuses by offering 10c between 6 and 9pm what a joke, just like someone stealing your petrol from your car and giving you 20c a litre for it, how is that legal???

Was totally impressed with the expedient and efficient way Western Power disconnected and removed old power lines today. The workers are so well mannered and good humoured putting up with people leaning out of windows, balconies to watch. Can't fault the whole process of having the underground power installed. Sure we had some outages but they sent everyone a warning beforehand. Well done to everyone involved. From a grateful Alfred Cove resident
