Loris was a great guide throughout the tour. She shared history knowledge, local anecdotes and she did everything she could to make us visit as many local businesses as possible in one morning. From chocolate, honey and nougat, to wine, cider and juice, we tried every delicacy Swan Valley has to offer. An added bonus was the background explanations on how the products are made. Would definitely try one of the other tours that Loris offers if I’m back in this region.

I was in a group of 3 and the only people who were on the tour. We had a fantastic day and would recommend this tour for overseas visitors as well as locals. Thank you Loris

Loris is such a great host and showed us some of the best small food and beverage businesses in the Swan Valley. Thank you for showing us great day out!

This 5 hour tour around the Swan Valley went by in a blur! It was over before I realised. Even though I have lived in Perth for over ten years, I never really visited the Swan Valley before and this tour showed me the best coffee, chocolate, scones, wine, food, honey and cider places. I really liked that there was so much variety in the places that we visited, but at the same time they were all local businesses. Speed grazing is an appropriate term to describe the fast pace with which we went from place to place. That said in some of the places we stayed a bit longer for a snack or dinner. I cannot speak highly enough of Loris who is wonderful at her job. She is professional but very welcoming and friendly, and she created a cheerful vibe for the small group that we were. Oh and the other awesome thing about this tour is you get a rewards card for lots of different businesses! I hope to do this tour again!

A very different style of work Christmas do this year. Rather than just your standard lunch, our afternoon with Taste Bud Tours, ably escorted by our delightful hostess Loris, was much more entertaining and, surprisingly, very informative! The Swan Valley is a veritable treasure trove of wineries, gourmet food establishments, and other amazing places... Our tour commenced with an eye opening coffee experience, on to sample delicate perfection in the form of freshly baked lavender scones... chocolate sampling and of course, the wine tasting that the Valley is famous for. With military precision we were escorted into the establishments on time, given a specific time frame in which to partake of the specialities on offer, then off to the next venue. Local knowledge and a great sense of humour enables Loris to be the kind of Host who keeps you intrigued and enjoying your tour with gusto. Even a minor setback with one establishment keeping their closure a secret even from Loris didnt make her blink. A quick phone call and we were whisked away to sample beer... which turned out well given the very warm afternoon. Thoroughly recommend this amazing business run by this talented lady. If you have guests from elsewhere, a work function, or want to make new friends and join in with a tour, this is definitely one of the best opportunities for exploring our city's heritage.

I had the pleasure of taking my significant other and a bunch of her friends out on the afternoon tour a few months ago. It's a whirlwind tour of the beautiful Swan Valley but it never really feels rushed, just well organised. We got to kick back at the end of it all with some wood fired pizza and some interesting beers. Loris is a fantastic and knowledgeable guide who has obviously spent a good many hours researching some very interesting facts on Perth's wine country. It's amazing they're able to fit in so much within such a short distance. Who needs Margaret River with this on your doorstep?

Fantastic day of learning about the Swan Valley and sampling some of the beautiful fare on offer there.
