Our on going experience with p&n has been a nightmare. We decided to go with this bank because of their reputation with family home loans(guarantor loans). We applied in mid August and have had to continually update our paperwork to ensure it was in date, as they don’t process it within the time frame, we still have not heard back from them about our approval date. Our mortgage broker has also found getting a hold of the bank impossible. He stated to us that he has never seen a bank so unprofessionally run; not returning his phone calls or emails. The bank’s delay to our mortgage has also meant we are currently having to couch surf as we organised to move out of our rental in accordance with the date the bank original suggested. This was a month ago. We are still yet to have received any update on when our mortgage will likely be approved. As teachers this is also effecting our jobs due to the unnecessary stress and the inability to continue our work within our accomodation. As a bank that has many public sector workers who are clients we would expect a little more from them. As a bank that claims they their purpose is to “enrich the lives of their members and their communities” I would argue the opposite. They have instead made what was to be one of the most exciting times of our lives a time of worry, stress and frustration.

When I closed my account the 50 notes had pencil marks on them which said "due."
