What a beautiful place! The views are amazing and you can spend all day here. If you're here for the first time, make sure to walk the federation walkway, bring a picnic blanket, some books and snacks, because you can spend all day here easily.

The best lookout location of the city and the swan river is at Kings Park which was absolutely spectacular especially on a bright sunny day and also at sunset when the city skyline lights up. This place was one of my favourite places in Perth to visit. If ever you need a place to see the whole city from a top then kings park is the place to be.

We have visited many Botanic gardens around the world And in Sydney and Melbourne. This one is definitely one of the best with great collection of local flora and amazing views and walks. There free guided tours that gave us a lot of details about local flora. Check the time for tours and you will not regret it.

Bus 935 from town brings you here for free. Absolutely stunning gardens. Several walks to choose from, lots of information boards. Spent over an hour here wandering around. Views over Perth are spectacular.

This place has do much to offer. It has something special for every age and everyone. Timeless natural beauty. A rejuvenating oasis in the middle of the city. Always offering something new and exciting. Well done to the Management and the Staff to offer Perth its own slice of heaven. I don't have enough words to describe its majestical surroundings.

It's nice to visit but if you want to see the DNA tower like I just did to show your kids, and you walk all the way from the main car park on Perth side, you'll be disappointed because it's closed and there's not a single sign to tell a pedestrian untill you get there. Playgrounds are good for the kids and they loved the tree Top bridge so plenty for kids to enjoy as well

Kings Park is a 400.6-hectare (990-acre) park overlooking Perth Water and the central business district of Perth, Western Australia. The park is a mixture of grassed parkland, botanical gardens and natural bushland on Mount Eliza with two-thirds of the grounds conserved as native bushland.[1][5] Offering panoramic views of the Swan River and Darling Range, it is home to over 324 native plant varieties, 215 known indigenous fungi species and 80 bird species. It is the most popular visitor destination in Western Australia, being visited by over five million people each year. Besides tourist facilities Kings Park contains the State War Memorial, the Royal Kings Park Tennis club and a reservoir. The streets are tree lined with individual plaques dedicated by family members to Western Australian service men and women who died in World War I and World War II. The park is also rich in fauna (both native and imported) and during September of each year Kings Park hosts Australia's largest wildflower show and exhibition – the Kings Park Festival.

Beautiful sunrise view (refer pics). Perfect place to start your day. Must go if you are in Perth and near the city. The place has parking cafes , just check the timings as the cafes are not open early morning / late evening. Went there twice - at night and early morning. Do carry jacket as the place can be windy.
