Only saw the garden which certainly is a lovely garden. Well worth a visit. A good night's entertainment whilst sitting on the well maintained lawn.

Happened to pass this place when they opened their door for public. Apparently they have just been opening for public regularly only from Tue-Thurs 12-2pm. I wonder why they do not give access to public more as the building is rarely occupied, hence visitors existence wouldn't bother anything. On top that, the garden is extremely beautiful with a variety of blooming flowers and it is well maintained by the presence of many gardeners taking care of it. It is such a shame that not many people can enjoy this place.
What a beaut spot in the middle of our City. Great venue for Fundraisers!! Had a great day @Backyard Cricket
Beautiful venue for a concert. Exorbitant prices for tiny cups of tea and biscuits.
It is open for public view in the afternoon. You can take a stroll around the garden, watch the birds flying and ducks swimming in the pond. Man made building blended with natural beauty... a Classic site!
The official residence of the Governor of Western Australia, Government House is an important part of Perth’s history. This magnificent building was completed in 1864 and is of both architectural and historic significance to the city. Standing proud on St George’s Terrace, the heritage listed building replaced the previous Government House which was deemed inadequate by Governor Stirling for its leaky roof. Government House is set across 3.2 hectares of beautiful gardens, lawns and trees and is also a tourist attraction in the CBD.
Very nice gardens - recommend visiting when open to public. The house inside is pretty standard - British style
An amazing building, the Government House Ballroom is an amazing place for a concert.
