Foxglove Project is an Australian charity working to eradicate poverty in the Developing World by empowering women and girls to change their own lives. Foxglove Project was founded by Kelley Chisholm in 2015 and is based in Perth, Western Australia. Foxglove is committed to fundraising and resourcing international development initiatives that support communities wanting to escape physical, emotional and economic poverty. We pursue this aim based on a belief in the inherent value of people and confidence in their capacity to make their own way out of poverty with support, training, and self-belief. We currently support projects in Rwanda, India and Cambodia that are empowering women and girls through self-help groups, education and vocational training and microfinance opportunities. We fundraise through local community fundraising activities, grants, donations, corporate partnerships, public speaking, social media campaigns and via an online shop selling ethical products handmade by women in developing countries. We need passionate people to join us as volunteers and help make a difference. Foxglove Project partners with Global Development Group, an Australian NGO approved by the Minister for Foreign Affairs and DFAT for Grassroots Rwanda (J778N), Birds Nest India (J925N) and Focus Cambodia (J658N). Tax deductible receipts for gifts over $2 are issued by Global Development Group.
