I have been sending emails to this mob for one year in regard to 2 estates they acquired through a merger about 5 years ago with Trust Company of Australia. Both estates were totally mismanaged and completely dis efrancised of all its assets through unnecessary asset sales fees and dishonesty. I am going to make them accountable for these actions as when you take over a company you must accept good and bad. One example is selling a property to " friends" in 1963.Trust Company ( Union Fidelity) sold it for 100,000.00. It was sold 4 years ago for 67 Million dollars. The beneficeries were ignored and did not want to sell it. It was not necessary and they placed the money in to an interest bearing account.

Having been a superannuation customer with Perpetual for 20 years suffering from underperforming funds and abysmal website I eventually rolled over my super to another provider after support staff suggested they call me a specific time (and make myself available) to resolve issues. Despite confirming to be available I’m still waiting for that call. Ignorance and contempt for customers at first display at Perpetual.

STOP! Reconsider before signing over your family estate. Trying to resolve problems we have with this company's handling of my grandparent's estate has already consumed a good part of several years of my family's time. For estate trust services I would suggest only using a company like Perpetual if you have no other option (i.e. family members incapable of managing your family's own money). Having made the mistake of allowing them to write our grandparent's will we are locked in with this company against our choosing - with no clear provision for appointing a new trustee even though we are extremely dissatisfied with their performance and service. They have lost our family's confidence. They have not disclosed detailed information about their fees when requested, we also feel they provide misleading analysis and make "one size fits all" investment decisions based on their own best interests rather than those of their customers. They have have achieved very poor performance for us while extracting huge fees. Bottom line is be very careful before entering into an arrangement. Perhaps their failings are endemic to all big business but it's especially bad when you're unable to opt out of having a relationship with them. We are doing our best to resolve our problems with them so I may update this review.

Absolute liars, they have 8 million of my son's, they haven't given us a financial statement since '2011 January, why because they're odviously robbing my son, they've just paid 500-0000 to a builder that was doing work around the house, new fence new pool When at first we done the plans with the builder which the builder didn't follow, was originally 100-000 but later when we rang perpetual to complain about bodgy work we where then told it cost over 500-000, back to Brady hall we go channel 7 a current affair
