Paddles Restaurant run by Maze Group Busy Wednesday 15 Steak Night! Full of people doing line dancing, Christmas parties... Magnificently presented meals; my mates had the Flathead Battered Fillets and the steak special. I had the Lamb Rump. All cooked to perfection and so tasty!! with chips & small salad. Beautiful outdoor balcony, or eat inside in air conditioning - cool breeze and fairly comfy chairs. Sticky tables but that’s acceptable seeing it was so busy. Drinks are expensive but meals are worth every penny although they are quite cheap for the quality of food you get. Service was a bit slow but that’s acceptable at this time of year.. Don’t drive past - give Paddles a go!!

Took my Mother there for lunch today, Dec 23rd. Hadn't been for a year or so and heard many mixed reviews but it was okay, it really was. She had a Ravioli of some kind and I had the signature burger, whatever they call it. The point is that the food was okay. My only -ve comment was that the chips weren't great but that's kind of okay with a burger. If it was fish and chips then not so. Other comment was that the beer choice was basic. No kind of amber ale, nothing really outside of XXXX, Tooheys, Hahn, Lashes etc although there was a cider and a couple of others like C.Club and Tooheys Old? The point is that many prefer some alternative beers and don't need to be told that we have bottles of VB. At least get one craft beer in please? Bottles will be fine. There's no excuse in this day and age. Overall, 4/5. The ambience is great, the food was fine overall and the beer choice should be reviewed. There are MANY worse places out there. Would happily go back which I guess is the most important point to a Business owner.
