Impact is a great place to not only work at, but they provide the best care to their clients. Have seen many kids restored back to family, kids being well looked after, given best access to therapists and education. Impact has also great training and flexibility. It’s been great working with children who are so vulnerable and see them flourish.

I commenced working with Impact Youth Services just over 6 months ago, prior to that I worked for 13 years with some of our most vulnerable, at risk and traumatised young people who were not fortunate enough to enter the doors of our Impact Homes. Impact provides safe and caring home environments that allow some of the most broken children and young people to view the world as somewhere worth living in. Each program is therapeutically and individually based, supporting the individual to find and celebrate the BEST that they can be, always with the hope that they can reconnect with their loved ones. I am proud to say that I work at Impact and no matter where my journey takes me, I will uphold and believe in their values and ethics.
Impact has always made sure that I have had enough confidence and competence when it comes to working with young people offering robust training aiming to make us valuable therapeutic care workers. It has been great being able to find programs and activities to help a young person gain self-reliance and a strong sense of community, individuality and positive interactions.

I'm happy to be working for an organisation that is truly client focused. Everything that we do and the therapeutic care that IYS provides to it's clients as a service provider is exceptional. In comparison to other organisations, Impact youth services has shown me the meaning of a Client centre'd approach. From the Training provided to the staff that provide the car, to the supportive management, i could never have come as far as i have without IYS.
Impact youth services is a fantastic organisation to work for as they care about the young people and they provide adequate therapeutic model of care to the young people that are placed in their care. The organisation provide training to staff which helps in the model of care and service delivery to the young people in care. The organisation encourages the client to participate in decision making on how services are delivered to them, for them by them working in partnership and get them involve in the process. Overall, the organisation encourages the young people to participate in their day to day functioning, support them to leave in a safe and positive environment by building positive attachment.
